What's up with those chem trails in the sky? It almost looks like it is some kind of patern. Maybe someone or some agency is fucking with me/you. Na, can't be- my government is out to protect me. They would never hurt us- we're americans. Did you happen to catch that HBO special last night on the hospitals in Iraq? I don't know the name of it, but it was real. And it is happening everyday. These guys and gals are like you and me. Except they're fighting a war and watching thier friends die and all we hear in the mainsteam media is that 5 soldiers were killed today and 18 wounded. Our troops are fucking awesome. The american public is fat and weak and stupid. Wake up you mugwams. I'd like to see our troops come home and overthrow this government, and believe me, they could do it easily- with the working law enforcement officers on their side. Do you think the cops would side with Americans or with Authority? Fuck - it ain't looking good...

Sorry to any of you sucka's who showed up to see us last night at Churchills. Brother Russ was puking his guts out for the last three days and was affraid he would puke all over the folks up front. He doesn't know if it was food poisoning, a stomach virus or some bad H he got from a mole on the beat. I've been reading this shitty book by Henry Rollins- Get in the Van: On the Road with Black Flag, and it kind of inspired me to start documenting these shows I play with Howitzer. It's not that I think Black Flag is shitty or anything, I just hate to admit I like anything by Rollins, particularly his 'poetry'. I do hate his spoken word shit though- pretty weak. I guess he likes to hear himself talk. It's kind of funny, in the book he talks about wanting to punch Mike Watt because he wouldn't shut the fuck up on tour- go figure... So if you were at the show Sunday you realize Steve Whale is not in the Business anymore, and the new guy Daniel needs to work on his chops a bit more, but other than that they rocked. I hung out with Micky Fitz on Monday for a while and he's been sober for 1 year next week. Cheers Mick! I might be putting a DVD of the Miami show and posibly CBGB's or the Corona show before the head back over the pond. We'll see what happens... We played great the other night, which sucks because we only have one more gig with the big man before he returns to his proud Mountains. Saturday night will be the last gig with Steve opening for 25 ta life. Thats a pretty cool way to end this 2+ year run. We wouldn't be at the level we are at without him, but as with life, you gotta go on no matter what. This shit is too big to stop now... I will be posting some clips from the show on this site and myspace/howitzercore soon, so check it out, you might see your punk ass there.
